Amnesty International is celebrating its 50 years, and to mark this milestone, they’ve teamed up with director Carlos Lascano to put together a 2-minute short film, showing many episodes of mankind’s struggle for freedom.
Lascano used various types of animation to complete this task, from stop-motion to 2D and 3D animation. The result feels very organic and cinematographic. The transitions and continuity of the film are really its highlights. Everything flows perfectly and every new shot that you see is perfectly connected to the one before. Hans Zimmer’s powerful soundtrack completes the piece beautifully.
There is a behind-the-scenes video that is really worth watching.
